Receive shipping requests, open direct channel with the supplier and send shipping instruction to prepare correct shipping documents required for import/export customs clearance and invoicing.
Communicate any delay in shipments to the respective client through phone calls or e-mails
Lead Communication with Freight Forwarders, Suppliers and Customs Clearance Rep.
Follow the shipment starting from the sailing and expedite the shipper to issue the original shipping documents to avoid port delay charges or demurrage penalties for containers.
Provide to coordinate the flow of information, materials and goods to Site.
Prepare documentation, maintain records and coordinate logistics.
Receipt of original shipping documents & starting the customs clearance process.
Monitor shipments & customs clearance.
Notify the Material Controller with the arrival of material to be ready for storage.
