Key Responsibilities?Planning & Monitoring Process:

Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting operations.
Assign projects and direct?staff?to ensure compliance and accuracy
Ensuring all applicable regulations are followed
Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
Develops business units? financial plans including revenue targets and cost budget.

Operation Excellence Process:

Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and facilitating audits and directs reconciliations, as needed.
Monitoring?and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, accounts payable, expense reports, billing, and payroll.
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties
Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit

Innovation Process:

Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
Analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and?initiate?corrective actions
Keeping informed about the latest developments in the international accounting principals
