Our Company has one exciting mission:To entertain the human race.An Executive Meetings Service Manager (EMM) is dedicated to providing exemplary service in order to create lasting and favorable memories. This position promotes, directs, and leads the company?s core service standards and brand attributes; supports the company?s sustainability initiatives and platform; and manages the operations by maintaining a positive, forward-thinking, and safe environment. It is the responsibility of the EMM to ensure the complete coordination of convention groups between 10 and 300 peak nights working closely with hotel departments to ensure the successful planning, set-up, and service of client?s stay. This position provides a ?one contact? service to these smaller groups. This position is responsible for driving revenue through food and beverage; coordinating billing and credit, meeting logistics and meeting room set up, amenities, VIP treatments and transportation, obtaining rooming lists, consistent coordination with the Group Services Department to ensure room counts are secure and the coordination of all food & beverage. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, policies, practices, and procedures, as well as within the framework of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino strategic intent.Works independently and unsupervised to ensure all program requirements and client requests are facilitated to Mandalay Bay standards.Makes decisions on own as it relates to client requests and satisfaction.Manage Convention Services Assistant in job duties and performance.Manages all aspects of smaller conventions, corporate and trade show bookings and other assigned events once assigned and on behalf of the hotel.Works direct with clients and internal departments coordinating the following functions including but not limited to; catering function needs, transportation, guest rooms, meetings, pre-planning, limos, amenities, site inspections, credit.Assumes the role of the main point of communication between the client and all departments within the property both in pre-planning and on-site.Establish positive working relationships and partnerships with all clients by understanding their expectations and anticipating their needs.Develops a strong working relationship with all support departments to ensure a successful event for the customers.Represents Mandalay Bay in a professional and positive manner at all times, including off hours if on business travel.Accountable for the overall success of multiple conventions at the same time.Manages assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department and the property.Participates in department staff meetings.Manages the delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company core service standards and brand attributes.Ensures that necessary meeting facilities are reserved where applicable.Host prospective and existing clients visiting the hotel, to include customer entertainment such as dining in hotel restaurants and accompanying to shows.Manages human resources responsibilities within the department to include: supporting a work environment that promotes teamwork; accepts performance feedback; attune to the importance of recognition; mutual respect and employee satisfaction.Participates in on-going training such as, but not limited to, the company?s diversity commitment, Master Connection Sales Training, Departmental Training and Company/Corporate required training.Performs all other job related duties as requested.Location:Las Vegas, Nevada MGM Resorts International develops, builds and operates unique destination resorts designed to provide a total resort experience, including first-class accommodations and dining, world-class entertainment, state-of-the-art meeting and convention facilities, and high-quality retail and gaming experiences.The Company is one of the worlds leading global hospitality and entertainment companies with 23 resorts.
