Our Company has one exciting mission:To entertain the human race.PRIMARY PURPOSE:As a Lead Surveillance Operator, you will be responsible for conducting surveillance filming, reviewing videos, and completing documentation to detect suspicious activities.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate CCTV/digital recording programs to conduct surveillance and routine surveillance filming, review videos, and complete documentation to detect suspicious activity throughout casino and gaming areas; review video and documents specific slot and table game jackpots, guest complaints, and variances in departmentsMonitor Table Games, Casino Cage, Soft Count, Hard Count, and Change Booth areas and personnel as well as employees adjunct to casino floor; oversee daily operations of shift in the absence of a Surveillance SupervisorMaintain strict confidentiality for the company when conducting observations and investigations, use computer and associated hardware to complete documentation, write and prepare daily reports and logsMaintain evidence by dubbing and saved video files; testify in court as a representative for the companyPerform and maintain shift scheduling dutiesInterface with departments throughout the property and communicate with sister propertiesCooperate with the Gaming Control Board (GCB) and other outside agenciesAttend company sponsored training classes and assists with department trainingPerform other job-related duties as requestedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Knowledgeable of operating a digital video recording systemWorking knowledge of at least one (1) card counting systemWorking knowledge of at least six (6) table gamesKnowledgeable of gaming regulationsAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAbility to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentialityAble to lead and mentor a teamProficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machineExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of related experienceWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysPREFERRED:Three (3) years of experience in a Surveillance department* Experience working in a similar resort settingLocation:Las Vegas, Nevada MGM Resorts International develops, builds and operates unique destination resorts designed to provide a total resort experience, including first-class accommodations and dining, world-class entertainment, state-of-the-art meeting and convention facilities, and high-quality retail and gaming experiences.The Company is one of the worlds leading global hospitality and entertainment companies with 23 resorts.
