SDDC is one of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Transportation Component Commands (TCCs). This cybersecurity task supports the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity requirements for the SDDC computing environments, the USTC and TCCs applications hosted on these environments and the Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDIs). Under general direction, uses current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information assets in accordance with established standards and procedures. Develops and maintains knowledge-base on changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards, and ensure compliance throughout the organization.DUTIES* Provide customer support in the form of technical assistance and subject matter expertise to approximately 300-400 SDDC local and remote users. Customer support includes maintenance, imaging and configuration of Government-owned personal computers (PCs), laptop computers, and other hardware; wide area network (WAN) connectivity; internet connectivity; e-mail capability; other voice and data communications capability (to include wiring patch panels, running/installing cabling, etc.); and multimedia and printer capability.* Provide all touch maintenance, including, but not limited to, vulnerability patching and hardware/software upgrades. Vulnerability and upgrade analysis requires a detailed understanding of the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scan report provided from the NEC weekly.* Perform workstation upgrades, new workstation setup/installations, and replacement of workstations and peripherals. * Execute a Government loaner laptop program, including configuration, issuance, tracking, and user instruction. * Conduct a STIG for all new equipment prior to connection to the network; continuously update the HW/SW list for Tenant Inclusion Plan and for accountability of property inventory, with periodic reviews.* Provide on-call support after hours, as required, for mission-critical incidents and outages.***Qualifications*Education and Certifications* 4+ years and Required IAT-II***Additional Skills & Qualifications*Must-Have Technical Skills* 4+ years of experience in Tier 3 Technical Management; customer support; knowledge of IT systems administration.Non-Technical Skills* Ability to provide customer support maintenance, imaging and configuration of Government-owned PCs, laptop computers, and other hardware; WAN connectivity; internet connectivity; e-mail capability; other voice and data communications capability (to include wiring patch panels, running/installing cabling, etc.); and multimedia and printer capability. * Knowledge and ability to schedule, set up, operate, and troubleshoot secure and non-secure VTC facilities, as requested by the Government.* Ability to perform touch maintenance, including, but not limited to, vulnerability patching and hardware/software upgrades. Vulnerability and upgrade analysis requires a detailed understanding of the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scan report provided from the NEC weekly.* Ability to conduct workstation upgrades, new workstation setup/installations, and replacement of workstations and peripherals.* Familiarity with STIG implementation and/or assessment for all new equipment prior to connection to the network; continuously update the HW/SW list for Tenant Inclusion Plan and for accountability of property inventory, with periodic reviews.*Working Conditions*Working Conditions* Contractor site with 10%+ travel possible.
