Requirements of the Nurse:
  • Qualified Nurse with at least 2 years? experience within a Labour & Delivery setting.
  • Respect for local customs, traditions, and laws.
  • Be willing to undertake the relevant compliance and onboarding.
Job Duties:
  • Provide expert care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to monitor maternal and fetal health and progress during labor.
  • Assist with the management of labor pain and provide emotional support to mothers and their families.
  • Perform assessments, administer medications, and assist with medical interventions as necessary during childbirth.
  • Facilitate bonding and breastfeeding initiation between mothers and newborns immediately after delivery.
  • Monitor and care for newborns, ensuring they are stable and adjusting to life outside the womb.
  • Educate mothers and families on newborn care, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding techniques.
