Job Description

The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical expertise and support to potential clients. This position is essential for bridging the gap between the engineering and sales teams, ensuring that customer requirements are met with the best solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering consultancy, particularly in security and fire systems, as well as electrical engineering. They will be responsible for preparing technical proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting in the development of project specifications.Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  2. Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies and proposals.
  5. Conduct site visits to assess project needs and provide accurate technical assessments.
  6. Assist in the preparation of project specifications and technical documentation.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.
  8. Provide training and support to clients post-sale to ensure successful implementation.
  9. Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company?s products and services.
  10. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure project feasibility and compliance with standards.

  3. Proven experience in a technical sales or pre-sales role.

  7. Experience with low voltage systems and their applications.
  8. Ability to travel for client meetings and site assessments.
  9. Strong understanding of security and fire systems technologies.
