eCommerce eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 75+ brands and 15+ countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshayas multi-channel capability to deliver customers choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing. JOB PURPOSE:The Editorial Officer is responsible and accountable for translating, creating, and improving the online content for all brands, as well as editing and proofreading current content such as website content, marketing promotions/campaigns, newsletters, and SEO articles to achieve the companys objectives. Their duties include communicating and dealing with other internal and external teams (i.e.Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Copy, Web Content Development, Product Management, and IT) to ensure brand voice consistency. The editorial officer can complete tasks within set deadlines and use the proper tools and software to aid their process. This role:
