Job Description

Abyat Company is seeking a skilled Visual Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our retail spaces. Your creative vision and technical expertise will contribute to elevating the overall customer experience and driving sales.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute innovative visual concepts and strategies to optimize the presentation of products in our retail environments.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and store operations to align visual merchandising efforts with business objectives.
  3. Design and implement visually compelling displays, window arrangements, and product layouts that reflect brand identity and seasonal themes.
  4. Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp software to create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, and mock-ups for proposed merchandising installations.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to continuously enhance the visual presentation of our products.
  6. Conduct regular store visits to evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies and provide recommendations for improvement.
  7. Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices to ensure consistent execution across all locations.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies of display materials and props.
  9. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or similar role in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
  • Strong creative vision with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and brand positioning.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous visual merchandising projects and design concepts is highly desirable.
