Main Duties and ActivitiesStrategic

• Identifying and evaluating emerging digital solutions and technologies to improve internal processes and introduce automation.
• Identifying new digital solutions and technologies that can help the organization to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.

• Developing and implementing data strategies and architectures to create data lakes and data marts that can efficiently gather data from all sources.
• Developing and implementing data security protocols to ensure that all data is handled in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitoring data analysis and automation processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes where necessary to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Developing and implementing data analytics and automation solutions that meet the needs of various departments and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with various departments within the organization to identify data sources, understand their data needs and prioritize data analytics and automation projects.
• Overseeing the process of gathering, cleaning, and transforming data to ensure it is accurate, complete, and ready for analysis.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members on data analytics and automation tools and technologies.
• Designing and developing business dashboards and visualizations that provide insights into key performance indicators and enable informed decision making.
• Developing and maintaining documentation related to data analytics and automation projects, including requirements, design, testing, and implementation.
• Tracking and reporting on the progress of data analytics and automation projects, including project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
• Maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets for data analytics and automation projects.
• Providing regular updates to top management on the status of data analytics and automation projects and their impact on the organization.

• Setting performance goals and objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback to help team members improve their performance.
• Building and fostering a cohesive and collaborative team that works well together and have a sense of teamwork and encourage staff to share knowledge and expertise.
• Allocating tasks appropriately, monitor progress, and provide support and resources as needed.
• Conducting interviews and onboarding new team members, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their job responsibilities.

• Evaluating and testing new data analytics and automation tools and technologies to determine their effectiveness and suitability for the organizations needs.
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in the data analytics and automation industry and identifying opportunities for the organization to adopt new technologies and best practices.

• A Bachelors degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required for this role.
• Certification: Professional certification is preferred
• A minimum of 7 years experience in the related field, preferable within the industry in which the organization operations.
