Job Description

C3EL is seeking Network Engineers to support large-scale data center network implementations and operations. The Network Engineers will deploy to support short-to-medium term projects with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment at contract end. The successful candidate will have a strong background in networking, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex project scopes.Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage network infrastructure, ensuring the use of best practices and methodologies.
  • Manage tasks effectively, maintaining high security and operational standards within a dynamic data center environment.
  • Collaborate on various projects, bringing technical expertise to a high-security data center environment.
  • Troubleshoot and address network, routing, and interconnectivity issues efficiently.
  • Engage in the physical installation and racking of network equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform physical duties such as moving and installing equipment as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in large data center network implementations and/or operations.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a highly dynamic technical role.
  • Proficient in TCP/IP networking, network cabling, optics, and the use of related test equipment.
  • Familiarity with Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS) and Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Proficiency in IT best practice frameworks (PMBOK, ITIL, LEAN, AGILE) is advantageous.
  • On or more of the following certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA
    • Comparable certifications will be evaluated and considered for substitution where appropriate.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in EE, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Assurance.
    • Additional experience and/or technical certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
