Job Description

A Business Analyst is responsible to establish a formalized process for conducting business analysis. This involves undertaking various activities, such as collating and recording detailed business requirements, user stories and scenarios from all stakeholders. A Business Analyst may be responsible of overseeing the development, testing and production of each requirement and keeping track of any changes in requirements in accordance with business priorities. Main Duties and Activities:

  • Collaborate closely with business users to identify business needs and appropriately translate them into functional requirements.
  • Ensure to appropriate documentation of all functional requirements to enable implementation and turnover of process of systems
  • Work closely with system configurators to ensure system capabilities are aligned with business requirements.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate technology solutions to support business analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Provide recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support business goals
  • Researching and evaluating different software tools and solutions to determine the most suitable options.
  • Developing and maintaining technology standards and guidelines for business analysis activities which involves establishing guidelines and best practices for the use of software tools and solutions.
  • Ensuring that the applications management department operates efficiently. They work to identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Insurance experience is a must
  • A bachelors in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
  • Certifications: Professional certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the related field, preferable within the industry in which the organization operations.
