Job Description

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications- Hands on experience with electrical, mechanical or computer, installation and maintenance.- A university degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent work experience is a benefit.- Constant and continual improvement of Pason product knowledge and knowledge of the petroleum industry in general- Computer Skills and excellent skills in the Microsoft Suite.- Direct oilfield experience from a similar job role can be with Pason, competitor, or another company that performs field service specifically to drilling rigs- Language skills a plus, good English skill are mandatory- Must have or obtain a valid drivers license with no restrictions- Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.- Background screening including pervious employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification.Physical Requirements of the job as applicable:- The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.- Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- While performing duties of the job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.- Occasionally required to work at heights over 100 ft.- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance visitation, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.- Overtime will be necessary as workloads dictate.- This will include weekdays, weekends and / or holidays.- Job will generally require travel to visit a Clients office, production facility or industrial / construction job sit. Conditions will vary at each location.- May be assigned to work at a Clients office, facility or site for an extended period of time.- Conditions will vary at each location. When performing outside Managements office, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Management and/or Client as required.
