Team Lead/ Evaluation Expert - Public Health and Family PlanningJordan Temporary Experienced This individual will have both technical and methodological expertise and will meet the requirements of a USAID evaluation specialist and health sector consultant, with expertise in evaluating Partner Government System (PGS) systems . The Team Lead should have significant experience designing and conducting project evaluations and/or assessments. This assignment is anticipated to take place between August 2022 and March 2023. This evaluation will require the Team Lead to be in country during the data collection process and for the validation workshop with USAID and the MOH. - - At least 10 years of experience in the public health sector or a related field, working with program managers, policymakers, and a broad array of health service providers and community leaders. At least five (5) years of technical experience designing and implementing health evaluations in developing countries required. - Successful leadership and supervisory experience with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work constructively in a team setting. Ability to perform senior level management roles must be demonstrable and experience applying effective leadership and communication skills is essential. - Ability to communicate quickly, clearly, and concisely, both orally and in writing, in fluent English. Extensive report writing experience required. Proficiency in Arabic preferred. - Familiarity with USAID policies and practices required; understanding of Partner Government Systems awards, or other government to government awards, strongly preferred. - Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience successfully interacting with host government officials, USAID staff, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and present logically and persuasively to senior officials and partners in a multi-cultural context.
