Job Description

Overview

  • The Marketing Director/Alternate Site Manager (MD/ASM) is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Marketing Department in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services provided shall include, but are not limited to, developing professional marketing material to inform the base populace of upcoming events, to include flyers, weekly and monthly calendars, brochures, posters, e-mail and web page updates. The Alternate Site Manager (ASM) is designated to serve in an extended absence of the Site Manager and shall have full authority to act for the Contractor relating to daily contract operations.
Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the management, supervision and work execution of all Marketing requirements as specified in the Performance Work Statement.
  2. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards, leading by example, working as a team and providing clean, friendly and Marketing Department.
  3. Responsible for providing all marketing/publicity material for MWR programs and events to include cross-marketing and base distribution.
  4. Shall send approved e-mails to the base population and maintain the base marketing SharePoint site to ensure all activity information is correct, professional and error free.
  5. Shall print and laminate marketing materials as needed.
  6. Shall provide photography and video of events to the flight chief and Vectrus leadership.
  7. Shall collaborate with all activity managers to develop marketing plans and programs for each service and completes/directs promotional support.
  8. Reviews customer surveys and preferences to determine current and future trends.
  9. Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports, enforces safety and performance standards through the execution of internal audits and inspections.
  10. Maintains the customer service comment program and ensures professional responses are provided in the applicable time frames.
  11. Responsible for the maintenance and condition of the equipment in the assigned facilities and ensure all applicable inventory and supply actions are taken IAW the PWS.
  12. Shall inspect and ensure continuity books are maintained in each department of responsibility.
  13. Shall ensure oversight of LN workforce in accordance with 332 AEWI and AFCENTI 32-1002.
  14. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
  15. Responsible for following and maintaining a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
  16. Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).
  17. Manage subcontracts put in place to support contract requirements.
  18. Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.
  19. Shall perform as Acting Site Manager in the absence of the Site Manager and function as supplemental personnel as needed for all Installation Service functional areas.
  20. Shall perform escort duties.
  21. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor?s degree preferred.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver?s License.
    • Must be certified or shall be willing to receive certification to drive up to a 10K forklift.
    • Must be able to or shall be willing to learn to drive manual transmission vehicles.
    • Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
    • Must be able to pass MOD15 employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
    • Candidates must successfully complete hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD provided protective gear.
  • Experience:
    • Shall have experience related to the requirements and qualifications necessary to manage and perform the tasks outlined in this PWS.
    • Management experience to include supervision of employees, including local nationals, completing required reports, and dealing professionally with the customer.
    • Marketing experience to include at least two years? experience developing graphics for marketing, publicity and/or advertising using web-based applications, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and other related programs.
    • Knowledgeable in Golden Eagle Standards and Tri-Service Food code.
    • Knowledgeable of Air Force procurement processes.
    • Previous experience in Air Force Support Services field or Dept /Section experience preferred
  • Skills:
    • Great communication, teamwork, decision making, and customer service skills.
    • Capable of operating audio and visual equipment.
    • Must be skilled with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
    • Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements
    • Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
  • Working Environment:
    • Work will be indoors and outdoors. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur. Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs. Employee must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions. Task specific work environment training will be provided as required. Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U. S. interests. 100% Overseas Assignment.
