Job Description

& Role:The Finance Manager, reporting to the General manager, will be primarily responsible for the company finance control framework and reporting to key stakeholders in the organization, including the Executive Management Team.The Finance Manager will also investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers, and acquisitions. He will lead to a best practice level, managing company?s reputation, security and data risks.Key Performance Areas?Manage company financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems and continuously strive to improve the system.?Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling with senior leadership team.Key Responsibilities?Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions.?Maintain financial health of the company.?Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company?s actual performance compared to the business plans.?Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.?Oversee daily operations of the finance department while evaluating for cost-reduction opportunities.?Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.?Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.?Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions.?Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.?Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.?Serve as primary legislative liaison in relation to company financial issues.?Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements?Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.?Role involves Communication with Department Head, Procurements. QA/QC, Safety, Transports, Payroll, PRO and HR, Clients, Contractors and suppliers. Banks, government authorities.Key Skills:- Accounting- Financial Accounting- Financial Analysis- Data Analysis- Financial Audits- Financial Reporting- Financial Planning- Management- Financial Risk Management- Financial Statements- CPAAdditional Requirements:?CPA or MBA graduate & must be a chartered accountant?Extensive skill, knowledge in accounting and bookkeeping procedures and accounting software.?More than 10 years of experience with ideally 5 years as a Financial Manager or Financial Analyst within Middle East.?Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the industry and general market patterns.?Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.?Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.?Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc?Effective team leader who supports teamwork?Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.?Accountability?High attention to detail?Ability to work under pressure?Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
