Equipment & Property Specialist - Jordan San Antonio , TexasJob SummaryAECOMis seeking a Equipment & Property Specialist to be based inAmman, Jordan. Upon award of the TF SAFE Contract on or about July 2022, AECOM will provide inspections, assessments, repairs, reports and training for facilities throughout the US Army?s Central Command Area of Responsibility. Services include electrical inspection and repairs of LIFE / HEALTH / SAFETY (LHS) deficiencies, storage management of Government Property / Contractor Acquired Property (GP/CAP), construction and operations related inspections and assessments.At AECOM, we?re delivering a better world.We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. Position responsibilities: * Maintain up-to-date Government property records and inventory of property for all Government Property (GP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP). * Maintain up to date government property records and maintain inventory of all government furnished property. * Maintain accounting documentation regarding issuance of GFP/CAP in accordance with the FAR. * Coordinate with other contractor property personnel and designated government representatives as required. * Employment is project-based in Amman Jordan and will take place on US Military Bases throughout the Middle East US CENTCOM AOR.Minimum Requirements* BA/BS degree plus 4 years of relevant experience and/or education * Property Manager shall be a Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA); * The candidate must be a US citizen or a citizen from a NATO participating country that is able to obtain a US or NATO secret security clearance. * The candidate must have the ability to work under austere conditions in the CENTCOM AOR and must pass a medical screening physical to obtain a fitness for duty letter. * The candidate must pass a background check and be cleared by the US government. * The candidate must possess a valid Passport with a minimum of 18 months before expiration. * The candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) checkPreferred Qualifications* Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) is preferred. * Experience with Federal, especially DOD, government property programs is desirable. * International experience and CENTCOM specific experience is preferred. Other Information: * Candidates should expect to work six days a week, 12 hours a day * Lodging and transportation will be provided by AECOM or the US Government. * Meals will be provided by the US Government in Dining Facilities or by AECOM through Per Diem reimbursement. * CNA USACE Defense Base Insurance is provided.What We OfferWe will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
