Title: Design ArchitectPosition Main Objective:Initiate new creative design ideas, translate these ideas into applicable designs, combine advanced technical skills and creativity to produce unique, valuable projects that meets Clients and TTWs objectives.Position Main Responsibilities:1- Introduce new and creative design ideas to produce aesthetic and functional designs .2- Translate creative ideas into applicable and functional designs.3- Produce full construction packages, including all technical details and requirements.4- Submit assigned tasks on time, while maintaining TTW criteria of accepted quality.5- Follow up project phases from pre-concept design phase to tender phase, and fulfill each phase requirements.6- Coordinate with all involved disciplines, coordinate architectural, structural, and electro- mechanical drawings and solve and/or report any conflicts.7- Provide team leader with progress of work, updates, possible delays, missing documents or information, using the assigned reporting system, and follow team leaders advice and instructions accordingly.8- Develop models utilizing computer software to present design concepts.9- Get involved with systems and materials selection, and provide recommendations to supervisors.10- Keep him/herself updated by reading up to date books and magazines, and continuous tracking for architectural web sites.11- Follow Team Leaders instructions and directions during performing assigned tasks.12- Provide Managing Director with required feedback when required.13- Commit to TTWs vision and to the Clients objectives, and avoid deviating from them.14- Stay involved with projects construction, pre-construction, and maintenance phases, coordinate with Project Engineers and provide any needed information.15- Be able to calculate BOQs under the supervision of Projects Engineer and Team Leader when needed.16- Attend office meetings, adapt new standards, and work strategies. Give feedback and new ideas and methods to enhance the quality and production of work.17- Follow correct communication channels, maintain adequate attitudes towards colleagues and managers.18- Attend progress meetings with Clients when required, acquire feedback.19- Maintain adequate attitudes when dealing with Clients, sub-Consultants, and any of the companys contacts.Use the communication skills that represents TTWs reputation and manners.20- Follow the instructions and guidance of direct manager and upper management.
