Role Summary:Provide remote technical support to customers and GEHC and Channel Partner Field Engineers.Provide first response and remote solutions where possible to customers experiencing system performance issues.Essential Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities/essential functions include:Provide L3 technical support to FEs, RSEs and customers with appropriate response times based on customer/contract agreementsAct as region field expert for DCAR programs and monitor NPI product performanceSupport proper launch of DCAR NPIs in EGMGather data and share information with the Modality Engineering groups to drive product quality and serviceabilitySupport installation and customer escalations (CSOs) at customer sites.Contribute to EGM LCS productivity through idea generation, data analysis, workout attendance and leading local DCAR projects as requiredSupport SD processes and improvements as needed (eg. PM, remote fix, TTR)Shares expertise and knowledge with EGM field teams to increase competency, deliver workshops & OJTs and field-based technical trainings in EGM.Quality Specific Goals:Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.Ensure timely dispatch closure.Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMIs) within prescribed timeframe.Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications/REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 7 years of engineering experience with the repair and maintenance of DCAR modality systems; demonstrated ability to handle/resolve difficult technical issues and expert-level knowledge in applicable systems.Ability to stay calm in pressurized situations and coach people through solving problems.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to extract applicable information during a troubleshooting process and use that information to help resolve issues remotely.Excellent IT skillsDesired Characteristics:Engineering degreeStrong customer-service skills.Highly motivated team-player.Prior project or technical leadership experience.Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry.Knowledge of GE Healthcare products preferred.About Us:GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
