KSA and EGY launchare planned for next year 2020. This is one of a unique acquisition where Amazon will be migrating existing Souqs data to Amazon systems and wont start from scratch. From Data Engineering perspective , we will be moving Souqs existing data layer to Amazon stack in order to support all analytical reporting built on using the two systems. We will be setting up the integration cluster along with Data Marts to achieve this, to support all business units across organization. Interested candidates to take ownership of this project and want to be part of this exciting journey of moving Souq stack to Amazon stack are welcome. REQUIREMENTS: BASIC QUALIFICATIONSB.Tech in CS or Information technologyDatabases, Data Modeling & Data designsSQL expertPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of experience in Data Engineering team within AmazonWorked on building up Data Marts via DATANET & on Redshift/ EMRKnowledge on Key BOOKER tablesHandled business requests end to end right from requirements gathering, design, implementation, writing test cases and then to deploymentTeam player and mentor to the junior team membersTroubleshooting skills to debug the critical issuesOptimization and Maintenance experience of database servers/clusters.Knowledge on Cradle, Spectrum, Eider is preferable.
