Number: 152598 Citizenships Jordan Residence Country Jordan Years of Experience 2 - 5Community Mobilizer and RequirementsJob Function/ Description:* Organize, outreach, facilitate and actively participate in community gatherings and Focus Groups discussions at a district level.* Follow up, coach and mentor Eight Syrian volunteers (2 in each district).* Follow up on the activities, volunteers and trends taking place in the three districts which he/she is focal point for.* Act as a FP for all the admin procedures regarding the activities in her/his districts; Venue reservation, logistics, Incentive Based Volunteers, maintenance and emergencies.* Assist the community by disseminating information and announcements through different Community mobilization channels and tools.* Complete all reporting concerning their work in the four districts (Daily reports, weekly reports, submit all CG, FGD and interview minutes of meeting, as well as emergency reports) in an accurate, organized, and comprehensive manner according to reporting protocol.* Follow up with and guide unpaid volunteering groups within his/her districts.* Monitor camp development and daily issues for identifying and resolving problems, needs, and serving as a line of communication between refugees, Blumont, donor and other organizations, as directed by the team coordinator.* Make sure that program?s requirements and targets are met, in addition to guarantee the quality of services provided and number of beneficiaries reached. * Apply AGDM with encouraging and stimulating full participation and inclusion of all community members in the camp.* Develop and maintain strong community relationships and networks between the refugees and the service providers. Continuously encourage and stimulate community members for determining their own problems with finding community based solutions and initiatives.* Represent Blumont in a professional and respectful manner to all community members and relevant coordination meetings.* Regular follow up with volunteers during emergencies at any time.* Perform any other tasks requested by the Team Coordinator in the framework of the activities by Blumont.*Design the frame work of the initiatives which created by the refugees.* Other duties as assigned.Required Education & Experience:* Bachelor?s degree in a relevant field. * At least two years of proven practical experience of working with a non-profit organization. Preferably in the field.Skills Required.* A cross-cultural experience and a strong understanding of humanitarian principles.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* Very good oral and written skills, in both Arabic and English.* High computer literacy with a full knowledge of Office applications.* Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and cooperate with refugees, colleagues and other stakeholders.* Creativity and the willingness to learn.* Excellent team work skills.* Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.* Familiar with requirements for conducting training and coaching.* Ability to travel to the field on a daily basis.
