Job Description

Job Title Under the general guidance and supervision of the Chef de Partie, assists in directing and controlling the whole food production in a manner that ensures the highest level of food quality, sanitation in food service and departmental profitabilityWhat you will be doing:

  • Is willing to learn and displays a lot of eagerness and enthusiasm for the work.
  • Helps in preparing hot food and soups, under the guidance of the Sous Chef
  • Must attend all scheduled training and on the job training sessions.
  • Ensure the highest level of personal hygiene; uniform is worn in the correct and cleanliness manner
  • Assists in checking all equipment and utensils and reports to the Sous Chef immediately if there is any fault.
  • Guest suggestions have to be listened to and brought to the Chef de Partie? s attention

Your experience and skills include:Education
  • High School, Hotel School or Tourism Academy, VTC
Experience
  • Held Trainee position, minimum of 2 years and had previous experience, in reputable establishment of a minimum 2 years.
Other
  • Basic communication skills in English (oral)
