Job Description

An optometrist is a healthcare professional who specializes in examining the eyes for visual defects and prescribing corrective lenses or other appropriate treatmentsDuties & Responsibilities:

  • Examine eyes, using observation, and instruments to determine visual acuity and perception
  • Conduct vision testing on clinic patients
  • Prescribe and fit vision aids such as contact lenses and eyeglasses
  • Analyze test results and develop a treatment plan
  • Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, and safety factors.
  • Maintain the clinic instruments.
  • Support staff to optimize quality clinical care and service.
  • Contact lenses fitting.
  • Contributes to sales activity.
