Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Technician to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Workshop Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks in our workshop, including equipment repairs, maintenance, and installations. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and a solid understanding of workshop operations. The Workshop Technician will work closely with the workshop manager and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop and the timely completion of all tasks.Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, testing and calibration of PSV.
  • Repair and maintenance of all types of industrial valves
  • Skilled in lapping and surface grinding operations
  • Able to operate ?Ventil? OR similar type of PSV test machines and track calibration dates for machine.
  • Demonstrate the skill in On-Line Calibration of Safety valves in High Pressure Steam Class PSVs.
  • Pressure testing of hoses as per the PM schedule.
  • Pressure testing of any piping components/elements as and when the requirement arises
  • Update quality and history in SAP and provide test certificates.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workshop Technician or in a similar role.
  2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of equipment repairs and maintenance.
  3. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
  9. Experience working with various types of equipment, such as generators, pumps, compressors, and power tools.
