SummeryWe are looking for an experienced Zakat and VAT Audit Specialist to join our finance team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and conducting Zakat and VAT audits, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and minimizing risks associated with Zakat and VAT liabilities. Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian Zakat and VAT laws, regulations, and filing requirements. Prepare, review, and file accurate Zakat and VAT returns in a timely manner. Reconcile Zakat and VAT accounts, with trial balance revenue accounts ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded. Verify all transactions not subject to VAT comply with VAT regulations on a monthly basis. Monitor changes in Zakat and VAT legislation and ensure the company?s processes are updated accordingly. Liaise with tax authorities, and consultants to resolve audit findings and queries.o Provide expert advice on Zakat and VAT matters, including the impact of new regulations and laws on the company?s operations.o Collaborate with finance, legal, and other relevant departments to provide guidance on Zakat and VAT issues related to transactions, contracts, and new business initiatives.
