Job Description

Job InformationIn the Product Specialist role, you will assist in all product development and marketing activities associated with the sales and aftersales teams of Material Handling Equipment. The product line-up consists of Internal Combustion Engine Forklifts, Electric Forklift, Warehouse Equipment, AWP and AGV. Communicate information within company sales/marketing, parts/service/warranty, and customers.Role & Responsibility

  • Market & Competitor Analysis
  • Capture and analyze market data (e.g. by industry, market, product, channel and/or region).
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate competitor product intelligence (e.g. business
  • strategy, new products, pricing data) to identify implications and differentiation opportunities for the Companys strategy and products.
  • In conjunction with Marketing, initiate and/or participate in market and product research activities to understand customer needs
  • Analyze market and product research (e.g. Voice of Customer, specs, features & benefits, operations strategy) to develop a long-range product strategy (customer experience targets) & to support product development activities.
  • Product Management and responsibilities
  • Provide Marketing Plan, product specifications and product features align with market needs
  • Acting as Voice of Customer, provide product feedback to support product development.
  • Act as liaison with the service team to ensure that all products work with suitable attachments.
  • Develop and maintain price and specification data sheets.
  • Setup new stock orders and option package configurations in line with manufacturer production planning systems.
  • In conjunction with Marketing, develop training materials for new product launches along with participating in market and product training events
  • Develop and conduct product training activities to support Sales Specialists
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Material Handling Equipment, their applications, configuration, competitors and new market trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and decision-makers to drive product adoption and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company in the KSA market.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all interactions and activities.
