Requirements- Bachelors degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering, from a recognized institution (Masters degree in power systems, an asset);- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, particularly related to power stations and/or substations;- Exceptional academic and professional record;- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a focus achieving results;- Team player with great interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;- Client focused, highly autonomous, and ability to work under pressure;- Comprehensive understanding of power system fundamentals;- Knowledge or experience in HVDC, FACTS, or HV Cables, an asset;- Eligibility for registration with a Professional Order of Engineers;- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE and CSA standards for electrical equipment and installations;- Availability for short trips to construction sites, factories, clients offices, in Canada, international and overseas.- Fluency in English and French languages, both spoken and written. Additional languages will be considered an asset.- Proficiency in the following (or similar) software tools, an asset: ETAP, CYMECAP, AUTOCAD
