Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial operations of our organization, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all local and international financial regulations and standards. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements
  2. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
  3. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  4. Ensure compliance with all local and international financial regulations and standards
  5. Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  7. Monitor and analyze financial transactions and variances
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  9. Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  3. Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and regulations
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
