Job Description

The role of a Scaffolder is crucial in the construction and building industry, particularly in ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites. As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures, which provide support and access for construction workers. This position requires a keen understanding of safety protocols, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all scaffolding is secure and compliant with industry standards.Responsibilities:

  1. All MUST have TUV CERTIFICATE
  2. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine scaffolding requirements.
  3. Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety regulations.
  4. Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety before use.
  5. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  6. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines on the job site.
  8. Provide assistance to other tradespeople as needed.
  9. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
  10. Keep work areas clean and organized.
  11. Participate in safety training and meetings to stay updated on best practices.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Strong understanding of scaffolding safety standards and regulations.
  2. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  4. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
  5. Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
  6. Proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues.
  7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
  8. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  9. Valid scaffolding certification is preferred.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills.
