? Support the Project Managers commitment to a ?Zero Accident? safe working environment in accordance with the company and project Safety programmers, specifications, legal HSE requirements, and obligations.? Organize and coordinate, the safety team site activities, assignments, and performance.? Interact directly with the Client on a regular and professional basis.? Write and transmit Safety reports to the Project Manager, Client and HSE Department Manager HO.Implement Health, Safety & Environmental Program.? Impart training to construction staff.? Prepare Hazard Identification Plan / JSA/ Risk Assessment / Activity Hazard Analysis.? Create awareness of safety among the construction staff and workforce.? Identify, evaluate and control safety, health, and environmental hazards.? Conduct daily safety inspections and monitor safety performance.? Prepare and implement procedures and plans. Example; excavation, confined space entry, working at height, fire protection, medical services, emergency, evacuation, etc.? Compile accident statistics and ensure KPIs are attained.? Implementation of the use of personal protective safety equipment (PPE) within the workforce.? Investigate incidents/accidents and take remedial measures to avoid recurrences.? Attend project safety meetings and present reports.? Monitor and modify safety techniques to achieve zero injuries, zero accident.? Inspect the work site daily and correct unsafe methods and conditions.? Keep and maintain HSE records.? Carry out site surveys and inspections to see that only safe work methods are in operation, health and safety requirements are being observed.? Welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.? Suggest and implement ways to prevent injury to personnel, damage to site facility or equipment and fires.? Implement Safety procedures.? Ensure the entire Safety team is conducting regular JSAs and Risk Assessments for tasks.? Provide guidance and mentoring to workforce and staff in regards to Safe Work practices and requirements.? Continually improve personal knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environmental issues.? Coordinate with project personnel as directed by the Project Manager or HSE? Department Manager HO.? Report Safety issues through the established project communication protocol.? Ensure the Camp accommodation is regularly inspected and identified HSE deficiencies are acted on and rectified.? Implement the Companies OSHAS 18001:2008 safety management system along with specific Client project requirements.? Conduct regular HSE site audits and inspections.
