Roles & ResponsibilitiesRole: Mechanical InspectorLocation: Jeddah, Saudi ArabiaProject Type: Infrastructure / Mega Community / Mixed-Use DevelopmentProject Duration: Long-TermRole SummaryHandling the inspections for Chilled Water (welding), Irrigation, Potable & Firefighting, Wastewater, Stormwater in infrastructure and HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing services in the service buildings.Required QualificationsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including 6 years of experience in Quality Inspection.CSWIP 3.1 Certification or CWI or equivalent (mandatory)Key ResponsibilitiesInspect welding works in accordance with approved WPS, ITPs, drawings, and project specificationsEnsure compliance with applicable codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO, etc.)Verify welder qualifications and welding procedures prior to executionConduct visual inspections before, during, and after welding activitiesCoordinate with QC Engineers, Site Engineers, and Contractors to resolve welding-related issuesReview and verify NDT reports and follow up on corrective actionsMaintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentationIdentify non-conformances and ensure timely corrective and preventive actionsEnsure adherence to HSE requirements during welding operationsThorough knowledge of ASME Standards.Experience RequirementsDesired Candidate ProfileExperience in infrastructure projects, mega community developments, or mixed-use construction projectsExperience in large-scale, high-quality construction environments preferredMeeting the minimum requirements
