Job Description

Job Summary:The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects, both short-term and long-term, with clear beginnings, ends, and specified deliverables. This role involves the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope, overseeing all aspects from initiation to closure.Strategic / General Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Resource Allocation: Develop comprehensive project plans, both for short-term and long-term projects, to track progress and allocate resources efficiently.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring timely and clear communication.
  3. Quality and Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
  4. Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring the project remains within financial constraints.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise project team members and subcontractors, providing direction and support as needed.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular project updates to senior management.
  8. Performance Review: Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  9. Long-Term Project Oversight: Strategically manage the lifecycle of long-term projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with company goals and longevity.
Operational Duties and Responsibilities:úÿÿÿÿÿÿOversee the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.úÿÿÿÿÿÿSupervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, ensuring all projects are delivered according to contract and design specifications.úÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the projects, including consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.úÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure integration of activities through the project lifecycle by maintaining regular communication and hosting status meetings.úÿÿÿÿÿÿManage the allocation and utilization of resources across projects to achieve maximum efficiency without compromising on quality.úÿÿÿÿÿÿNegotiate the purchase of materials and equipment to keep costs within budget while securing quality supplies.úÿÿÿÿÿÿDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all administrative tasks and sites works involved.úÿÿÿÿÿÿMonitor project timelines and deadlines, adjusting schedules as needed based on workflow, delivery times, and staffing changes.úÿÿÿÿÿÿImplement quality control programs to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations in every aspect of the project.úÿÿÿÿÿÿInspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.úÿÿÿÿÿÿPrepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.úÿÿÿÿÿÿDocument all project phases and ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate and stored appropriately.úÿÿÿÿÿÿProactively identify problems and swiftly implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.úÿÿÿÿÿÿHandle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.úÿÿÿÿÿÿEnforce safety protocols and occupational health standards, ensuring they are adhered to throughout the project duration.úÿÿÿÿÿÿConduct regular safety audits and training sessions to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.Key KPIs:
