  • Develop procurement category strategy covering spend analysis/cost reductions/consolidations/standardizations/risks considering all entities within IKEA
  • Lead the category end to end procurement cycle including RFX, Spend analysis, contract analysis, bid evaluation, negotiation, supplier performance?
  • Review and negotiate contracts for the assigned category and ensure on-time renewal
  • Lead a project procurement plan of a new store (expansion)
  • Lead supplier & internal stakeholder?s relationship management & ensure relevant alignment is in place
  • Closely monitor daily procurement operations
  • Closely monitor and develop strategic suppliers
  • Ensure the team?s KPIs & Goals are followed and achieved
QualificationsBachelor Degree in supply chain / procurement or equivalent Experience: Minimum 5 years? experience in procurement including managing a team. Specific Designations, Certifications, Licenses:Certified in Procurement (i.e CIPP)Certified in Contract Management (i.e.CCMP) Additional Information
  • Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English
  • Must be computer literate
  • Good in train people and passing information
  • Communication skills and Knowledge
  • Good knowledge of home furnishing products
  • Organizational skills
