SummaryAssists in receiving, stacking, rotating and distribution ofpharmaceutical, medical and general supplies to Hospital departments. Enters/updatesinformation/data into the Oracle system and performs transactions on a realtime basis as assigned.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Scans/ Documents all delivered Medications / labels when required.2. Assistsin filling pharmacy requisitions, maintaining records, and distributingmedications to the shelves.3. Maintainsproper inventory of drugs and supplies, monitors expiration dates, and assists in appropriate maintenance of storage/rotation andremoval of expired/re-called items from the shelves.4. Makesspecial deliveries or collection of messages and other items as instructed by assignedmanager.5. Verifiesquantity PO/pick slip/on the pallets/shelves manually or through WarehouseManagement System (WMS).6. Assiststo accept/confirm the delivered items in the system by printing barcode labelsand placing them on the items.7. Informssupervisor/senior staff about the differences in description, catalogue number orquantity of items.8. Ensures that items are stacked properly on the pallets and on theshelves.9. Pickssupplies from shelves to fill orders as assigned. Uses the WMS to issue correctitem, lot and quantity. Verifies collected items against pick slip prior theyleave the warehouse/store.10.Utilizes Oracle Supply Chain Management systems effectively toaccomplish tasks.11.Maintains work area in a neat, clear and orderly condition and preventsunauthorized persons from entering the area.12. Assistsin annual physical inventories or in the cycle counts as and when required.EducationBachelor?s or Associate Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy is required.Experience RequiredGrade 06:Noexperience with Bachelor?s or one (1) year of related experience with AssociateDegree /Diploma is required.Grade 07:Four(4) years of experience as Pharmacy Technician at KFSH&RC.Average of annual performance appraisal at least(3.5) for the last four (4) years.Other Requirements(Certificates)
