Job Description

The Online Storekeeper plays a crucial role in managing the inventory and ensuring that the online store operates smoothly. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate records. The Online Storekeeper will work closely with the logistics and sales teams to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately, contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the online inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
  2. Process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring all items are correctly picked and packed.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock and manage incoming shipments.
  4. Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management systems and processes.
  6. Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and product availability.
  7. Prepare reports on inventory levels, sales trends, and order fulfillment metrics.
  8. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product listings are up-to-date and accurate.
  9. Train and supervise junior staff in inventory management practices.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized storage area for all online products.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
