Our client: A prominent provider of food ingredients across KSA, is seeking an accomplished Production Controller.Your role: With a strong foundation in material planning, inventory control, and production optimization, this role is essential for ensuring efficient production and effective cost management. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to secure material readiness, streamline inventory processes, and minimize production downtime. Key responsibilities include:? Material Planning & Control: Develop and manage material requirements in line with production schedules and forecasts, adjusting as needed to meet demand and inventory targets.? Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to support production without overstocking, analyzing turnover rates to reduce excess and obsolete materials.? Production Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to ensure materials are available for each cycle, minimizing delays from material shortages.? Supplier & Procurement Coordination: Work with procurement to secure timely, cost-effective materials, coordinating with suppliers on delivery schedules to align with production needs.? Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze MRP and production data to identify trends, generate insights, and prepare reports on material flow, stock levels, and production efficiency.? Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine MRP processes for better accuracy and responsiveness, working with IT to enhance system functionality.? Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison among production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to maintain smooth material flow and resolve issues promptly.
