Job Description

The Mechanical Site Engineer plays a crucial role in the successful execution of mechanical engineering projects within the technical maintenance and repair sector. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure that all mechanical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to industry standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of mechanical equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
  3. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project timelines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  4. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of project progress, including reports on mechanical system performance.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of the project.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel and subcontractors as needed.
  7. Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
  8. Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with stakeholders.
  9. Conduct training sessions for site staff on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical systems.
  10. Monitor budget expenditures related to mechanical works and suggest cost-effective solutions.
