Al-Futtaim Group?s entrepreneurship and relentless customer focus enables the organization to continue to grow and expand; responding to the changing needs of our customers within the societies in which we operate.By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration and integrity; Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every dayOverview of the role:Logistics supervisor will supervise and manage the logistics operations activities in FAMCO Saudi with regard to requirements of the equipment, sea, land, and air transportation, record keeping, movement of equipment and disbursements, custom clearance.What you will do:- Reviews freight rates: air, courier, sea and land- Assign duties to drivers ensuring timely services, issuing fuel, and recording equipment?s logbooks.- Managing supplier?s ready shipments from loading port up to destination port (Jeddah/Dammam), to final destination for Units & Spare parts.- Managing Custom clearance for Units & Spare parts.- Managing local and overseas transportations in association with company drivers and local / international forwarders.- Responsible for checking vehicle customs cards and making sure that they are in line with equipment specifications.- Supervising extraction of control, statistical and exception reports.- Perform monthly physical stock checks at all locations and highlight variances to the management- Ensuring that goods received in warehouse are matching with the actual invoices from the suppliers.- Responsible for entering goods in iScala system as received and escalate any discrepancies.- Transferring equipment in iScala from one location to another location when equipment is transported physically between branches.- Responsible for communicating with department manager and purchasing on inventory levels and locations.- Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.- Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.- Archive & documentation for Shipping files, Customs clearance and shipping lines.- Screening & Endorsing the service bills from the custom brokers & transporters.Required Skills to be successful:Excellent knowledge of computer applications especially the Microsoft office programs and Internet browsing.What equips you for the role:- Bachelor?s Degree- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the field of operations and logistics -Transportation & ClearanceAbout Al-Futtaim AutomotiveA major division of the UAE-based Al-Futtaim Group of companies, Al-Futtaim Automotive is an industry leader with presence in 10 countries across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.Our core business activities at Al-Futtaim Automotive include distribution, manufacturing, leasing and aftersales, and we are firmly established as the regional representative of some of the world?s most iconic automotive brands: Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Volvo and RAM.We are driven by a customer-centric approach, constantly pushing the boundaries on innovation, quality standards, and value-added service across our vast universe of customers - right from motoring enthusiasts to fleet operators to contractors.
