Job Description

We now seek to recruit a HSE Officer to implement, review and report on all aspects of the health, safety and environmental (HSE) management systems. To ensure HSE by all employed on the project (mainly Contractors & Subcontractors) are adhered to in accordance with the contract documents, relevant international standards and local/federal authorities? requirementsPurposeTo assist with the provision of a successful and proactive HSE Officer for part of the SNC-Lavalin Saudi Arabia, Middle East business.Responsibilities

  • Making regular site inspections
  • Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes
  • Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation
  • Keeping up to date with developments within the profession
  • Making presentations to groups of employees/managers.
  • Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers
  • Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health
  • Writing internal health and safety policies/strategies
  • Drawing-up safe operational procedures
Requirements
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Customer service attitude.
  • Diploma in HSE degree or above.
  • Years of experience: 3
  • Saudi national ( Only)
