Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Forklift Driver to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a similar setting. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating the forklift to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the forklift equipment to ensure its proper functioning. The successful candidate must possess strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to safety.Responsibilities:

  1. Operate the forklift to move, load, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment before and after each shift.
  3. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  4. Ensure that materials are properly stacked and secured on the forklift for transportation.
  5. Assist in the inventory control process by accurately recording the movement of materials.
  6. Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate the movement of materials.
  7. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  9. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a similar setting.
  2. Valid Forklift Operator License is required.
  3. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  4. Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
  5. Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  10. Physical stamina and strength to perform the job duties.
