Our partnership with premium European and Japanese manufacturers like Montanari, Fuji Yida, and Ozbesler allows us to deliver technologically advanced and aesthetically superior products to the Saudi market.As we expand our operations in line with Saudi Arabias Vision , we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Elevator & Escalator Technician to join our growing team in Jeddah.This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to landmark projects across the Kingdom.Job SummaryThe Elevator & Escalator Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance,modernization, and repair of Elite Rises full range of vertical transportation systems. Theideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of elevator and escalatorsystems, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently to solve complex technical challenges. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, andperformance of our installations, and to providing exceptional service to our clients.Key Responsibilities• Installation: Perform the complete installation of elevators, escalators, and movingwalkways at various project sites, ensuring compliance with all technical specifications,safety standards, and Saudi Building Codes. This includes interpreting architectural andmechanical drawings, taking precise site measurements, and verifying dimensionalcompliance with design specifications.• Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all installed equipment,including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements toensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, andelectronic faults in elevator and escalator systems in a timely and efficient manner.• Modernization: Participate in modernization projects to upgrade existing systems withnew technology, enhancing performance, safety, and energy efficiency.• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures,as well as local and national safety regulations. Conduct safety tests and inspections to ensure all systems are compliant.• Technical Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to understand equipment specifications and installation procedures. Performsite surveys and take precise measurements using standard measuring instruments(tape measures, laser distance meters, levels, plumb bobs) to verify buildingdimensions and ensure proper alignment and fit-up of equipment. Maintain accuraterecords of all maintenance, repair work, and site measurements performed.• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients on-site, providing clear communication about the status of their equipment and any necessary repairs. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.• On-Call Service: Be available for on-call emergency service on a rotating basis to respond to equipment breakdowns and urgent repair needs.Qualifications and SkillsRequired Qualifications• Education: Diploma or technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field from an accredited institution.• Experience: A minimum of - years of hands-on experience as an elevator technician,with a proven track record in installation, maintenance, and repair.• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronicsystems related to elevators and escalators. Familiarity with motor controls, PLCs,variable frequency drives (VFDs), and hydraulic systems.• Drawing Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural,mechanical, and electrical drawings (blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematicdiagrams). Ability to understand elevation views, section views, detail drawings, anddimensional annotations in accordance with standard drawing conventions.• Measurement and Dimensional Control: Demonstrated competency in taking precisemeasurements and performing site surveys using standard measuring instruments andtools. Ability to verify dimensional accuracy, ensure plumb and level alignment, anddocument measurements for compliance verification.• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Saudi Building Codes (SBC), SASO standards,MOMRA requirements, and other relevant local regulations for vertical transportationsystems. Understanding of safety codes and installation standards applicable toelevators and escalators.• Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic is required.
