Job Description

The E-commerce Accountant plays a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of online retail operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the finance team to streamline processes, manage budgets, and provide insights that drive business decisions. With the rapid growth of e-commerce, this role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the companys overall financial health. Must have experience working in e-commerce.Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate financial records for all e-commerce transactions.
  2. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
  3. Monitor and reconcile e-commerce sales and expenses to ensure accuracy.
  4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting for online sales initiatives.
  5. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation.
  6. Collaborate with the IT department to streamline e-commerce accounting systems.
  7. Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  8. Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  9. Manage accounts payable and receivable related to e-commerce operations.
  10. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for e-commerce activities.
