Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control Tower Operator to join our team. The Control Tower Operator will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the movement of aircraft, ensuring the safety and efficiency of air traffic operations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environmentResponsibilities:

  • Monitor and supervise air traffic movements within assigned airspace through radar and other surveillance systems.
  • Communicate with pilots and air traffic controllers to provide guidance and instructions on flight plans, traffic flow, and any weather-related issues.
  • Manage and update flight data, including departure times, routes, and aircraft information.
  • Coordinate with other control towers and air traffic control centers to ensure smooth flow and transit of aircraft.
  • Issue landing and takeoff clearances, following established rules and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate weather conditions potentially affecting the safety of flight operations, promptly notifying pilots of any changes or hazards.
  • Record and maintain accurate records of aircraft movements, communications, and incidents.
  • Collaborate with ground support personnel, including maintenance crews and emergency services, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the airfield.
  • Stay informed about changes in flight regulations, air traffic control procedures, and technological advancements in control tower operations.
