Job Description

As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reports. Your main responsibilities will include managing the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management team. Additionally, you will be responsible for:Responsibilities:

  1. Keeping the project manager informed of the projects financial status and upcoming risks and opportunities.
  2. Supporting the Project Manager by continuously identifying/evaluating project exposures/opportunities and following up on work plans from a financial perspective.
  3. Providing input parameters for the bid approval process and supporting Cepco tender activities for change orders.
  4. Staff planning in collaboration with the core team and HR business partner, considering target costs for the project.
  5. Controlling cost and direct hours.
  6. Managing manpower as planned.
  7. Procurement/Engineering: Measuring the impact of change orders (calculate profitability), and evaluating the impact on various cost items in the calculation, such as bill of materials and engineering hours.
  8. Maintaining an appropriate level of emergency.
  9. Controlling cash flow for all projects and updating it monthly.
  10. Ensuring that all project costs and actual revenues are recorded on the ERP system monthly and running actual and forecast reports for all projects on a monthly basis for review with the Operations team.
Preferred Candidates:
  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Ability to work independently and in a team.
