Medina County Public TransitBus Driver (Part-Time)The Medina County Board of Commissioners seek part time Bus Drivers for Medina County Public Transit.Duties and Responsibilities:Operates a passenger/paratransit bus on fixed route and/or demand response basis. Maintains records, logs, and reports. Will be required to operate wheelchair lift and tie downs. Ensures safety of bus and passengers by enforcing rules of conduct and operation. Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify damaged or defective equipment and cleans vehicle.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Drivers License with desire to obtain Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class C with passenger endorsement or valid CDL. The successful candidate must pass a background check, drivers abstract, ODOT physical and drug screen.Hours:Varied depending on need.
