DescriptionThe Bed Manager will be responsible for:

Continually monitoring and coordinating capacity and flow throughout the hospital.
Making regular visits to the wards to maintain an accurate bed status, tracking actual and potential discharges in collaboration with nursing staff.
Collecting and collating data for operational site reports.
Reporting capacity and flow information in site meetings to aid in the planning and management of inpatient bed utilization.
Ensuring that bed management clinical systems are updated and accurate.
Utilizing operational and clinical knowledge to assess and manage appropriate patient transfers to outlying and escalation areas as needed.
