Ensure Implementation of Group Policy, Procedures, and IFRS Compliance:
Ensure all transactions across departments comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies and procedures. This includes rigorous review processes to maintain the integrity of financial records.
Timely Transaction Recording:
Enforce timely recording of all financial transactions, setting and monitoring deadlines for submissions from other departments to keep financial data current and reflective of the company?s operational status.
ZATCA Compliance and Liaison:
Manage dealings with the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) for VAT and other tax or zakat obligations. This role includes ensuring compliance with local tax laws and effective communication with ZATCA representatives.
Operational Leadership and Efficient ERP Utilization:
Oversee daily operations, maintaining ledger accuracy, account reconciliation, and ensuring the effective processing of transactions using the ERP system. Efforts should be made to fully utilize the features of the ERP during transaction recording to maximize the output and benefits of the system.
Cash, Payables, and Inventory Management:
Manage and optimize cash flow, oversee accounts payable, and control inventory to maintain healthy working capital levels, ensuring operational and financial stability.
Financial Reporting and Compliance Oversight:
Manage the integrity and compliance of financial reporting, focusing solely on IFRS compliance, tailored to the company?s operational needs.
Internal Controls and Risk Management:
Strengthen internal controls and manage risks related to accounting practices, identifying and correcting financial discrepancies to safeguard the companys financial health.
Team Development and Process Improvement:
Lead and develop the accounting team, identify and implement process improvements, and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
