Job Description

A well-established private company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing accurate financial information to management. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and has a passion for numbers.Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  2. Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data
  3. Prepare financial statements and reports for management
  4. Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
  5. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements
  6. Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process
  7. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
  8. Provide support to other departments regarding financial matters
  9. Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
  3. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
  4. Strong knowledge of local accounting regulations and tax laws
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to work well in a team
  10. Fluency in English and Arabic
