Our customers are some of the world?s largest and most-respected companies.About this opportunityYour work environment: We are now looking for anAccountantfor our business in Saudi Arabia which produce aluminium beverage cans. The position reports directly to the Chief Accountant and is based in Jeddah.Your mission in CrownManage accounts payable (Foreign and Local), record transactions in system, maintain supplier reconciliations and process debit/ credit notes.Record accruals/ prepayments in system and maintain supporting schedules of all accrued liabilities/ prepayments.Responsible for managing petty cash, processing payments and duties. Prepare the bank reconciliation on monthly basis.Responsible for preparation of Withholding Tax (WHT)/ VAT and Zakat and maintaining the related records and database.Responsible for ensuring compliance of related SOX controls and maintaining proper evidences against those controls.Ensuring timely performance of monthly closing activities and recording of all transactions in ERP system. Preparation of reports and financial analysis based on business requirements.About youThe successful candidate has a Bachelor in Accounting / Finance with a minimum 2 years? experience (preferably within the industrial sector) in a reputed organization. Professional Certifications (ACCA/ CMA/ CPA/ SOCPA) is a plus. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to review and present data to financial and non- financial Management. You have expert technical and systems skills, including advanced Excel spreadsheet skills and ERP system experience (i.e. JDE). You demonstrate evidence of working productively and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines whilst demonstrating attention to detail and high quality performance.
