Shuttle Bus SupervisorCAROUSEL_PARAGRAPH * Iraq * 21599 * Operations Support * Regular Full-Time * No * Public Trust/NACI (Tier 1) Share Job OverviewThis position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP.* Directs the general day to day operation of the Shuttle Bus system, Leased Vehicles and Equipment, Drivers Training Program, ULLS-G Licensing, and the Expat Bus SectionResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.* Supervises all employees under their direct report. * Performs the full range of first line supervisory duties to include mission planning, maintenance scheduling and counseling duties. * Determines assets needed for mission and requests additional assets when needed. * Coordinates and schedules buses and bus routes. * Supervises the dispatching of equipment to maximize its use. * Prioritizes equipment use when necessary. * Recommends (with justification) additions and deletions of equipment to the TMP. * Ensures quality control of all processes and corrective action is taken when necessary. * Troubleshoots problems/incidents, notifies manager or assistant manager when unable to solve or correct in accordance with established policies and management guidance. * Is highly mobile, stays in constant contact with POCs for all aspects of missions. Areas of responsibility include operation of a Transportation Motor Pool which includes a Bus Section and Licensing Section. Supervising a fleet of Non tactical vehicles, to include dispatching, coordinating for maintenance services, and ensuring quality control. * Supervises and controls the Master Driver and licensing section for the project. * Capable of implementing ISO and adhering to Vectrus standards. * Suggests improvements to processes and capable of writing or rewriting/implementing those processes. * Problem solving skills when multiple tasks need to be accomplished. * Maintains EHS and Key Control records. * Proficient in proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste. * Prepare recurring special reports for Management and Commander to track status of equipment and usage of NTV vehicles or tracking military licensed operators and designated subcontractors. * Provide continuous transportation for the project. * Maintain accountability of all section equipment and personnel. * Enforce safety and EHS in day to day activities. * Initiate, submit and follow up on work orders for deadline NTVs * Troubleshoot problem areas in TMP and coordinate resolutions with management. * Maintain attendance roster and timesheets for American and Foreign Nationals. * Responsible for providing recovery services for leased assetsQualifications*Minimum Qualifications:Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. + Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) + Must be a U.S. Citizen + A valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operators License and host nation Drivers License, is required. + Host nation Heavy Duty Drivers License. + CPR training and certificate is required.*Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:+To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements.As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.*Experience:+ 8 yrs experience in operating a Motor Pool which conducted dispatching and military licensing.*Skills:+ Proficient in proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste. + Capable of implementing ISO and adhering to Vectrus standards. + Suggests improvements to processes and capable of writing or rewriting/implementing those processes. + Problem solving skills when multiple tasks need to be accomplished. + Ensures quality control of all processes and corrective action is taken when necessary. + Performs the full range of first line supervisory duties to include mission planning, maintenance scheduling and counseling duties. + Supervising a fleet of Non tactical vehicles, to include dispatching, coordinating for maintenance services, and ensuring quality control. + CPR training and certificate is required.*Supervisory Responsibilities:+ Supervises all employees under their direct report.*Working Conditions:+ Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. + Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). + Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.*Physical Requirements:+ Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. + Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
